Wildcat Rally 2008

Another fantastic weekend at John O Groats. The weather was better this year but still not the blazing sunshine we had hoped for, But as they say the weather doesn't matter if the craic is good and the beer is cheap. Friday night started off with 2 local bands Saxifier and Bad Reputation hitting out some great tracks to keep everyone entertained. Saturday morning dawned and James the Post took some hardy souls on a tour of the county before returning to Groats. 2 piece band Diesel and Dust kept folks entertained in the Bar on Saturday afternoon and later on in the evening we were entertained by Mind Gone Blind who put on a cracking show. By the end of Saturday night we were running out of drink in the bar, You must of been a thirsty lot this year as you totally demolished our stocks. Makes it all the easier for us to pack up afterwards :) Next year will be the tenth rally so we are seeing what we can do to make it a stormer. Hope to see you there again next year..

Thanks for coming and making the rally a success
