Wildcat Rally 2009

Another year has flown by and its time for the Wildcat Rally, I cannot believe 10 years have come round so quickly. It doesn’t seam so long ago that we were preparing for the first one.  This year we were hoping to up the game a bit and hopefully we managed to make it the best one yet. However without all the hard working club members and party mad bikers this rally would never of been so good so thanks to everyone involved who have kept this party going for 10 years!

On the Friday evening the dance floor was bouncing to the more traditional Scottish sounds of a local band by the name of Whisky (www.whisky-band.co.uk) Something a bit different from the normal Rally Band and I hope you all enjoyed them as much as we did.

This year we had the Silly games beside the Hall and I think you will agree this was much better than up at the campsite (The bar was right beside the activities) Diesel N Dust entertained us in the Afternoon in the Marquee. The evenings entertainment was provided by hard hitting Saxifier followed the the most excellent Joes Band all the way up from Fife. I don’t know about you but I really enjoyed the line up bands and by the way the dance floor was bouncing at times so did all of you!  At best not to forget a big Thanks to Bruce from Orkney for his exceptional cog making (and drinking) skills.

Cheers and I hope to see you all next year and pop in and say hello on our bebo page

On a more sombre note

TEAM MCC send their condolences to Allan and his family for the tragic loss of Michelle who died in an accident on the way to the rally. A collection made at the rally raised £450 and has been passed to Allan and has been donated to his local branch of The Heart Foundation.
